Brixx + Xero Scopes

Brixx requests information from your Xero account to make the integration possible. Here is the technical description of the information we request:



Offline_access 

Token refresh and offline access. 


This will allow Brixx to update data from Xero automatically and keep the Brixx app connection to Xero authorised.


Openid 

Required for sign in/up with Xero. 


This will allow users to sign into Brixx with their Xero account, and Sign up to Brixx with their Xero account.


Accounting.transactions.read 

View business transactions (bank transactions, invoices etc).


This will allow Brixx to bring across actual information from Xero to set against forecasts made in Brixx. Brixx specifically needs transaction and invoice data to fill in actual cash transactions which will appear on the Brixx Cash Flow report.


Accounting.reports.read 

View reports (Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet etc).


This will allow Brixx to bring across actual information from Xero to set against forecasts made in Brixx. Brixx specifically needs report information to fill in actual P&L and Balance Sheet transactions which will appear on the Brixx P&L and Balance Sheet reports.


Accounting.settings.read 

View organisation settings (Accounts, Taxes etc). 


This will allow Brixx to import the names of Xero accounts, which are used to match Xero accounts and Brixx accounts in reports. These account names are also used to name components in Brixx when a new plan is created from the user’s Xero chart of accounts. Finally, this is also used to bring across tax information to populate in Brixx reports.
