The main way to analyse your actual performance compared to your forecast is through the reporting area.
1. Turning on actuals in your reports
Your reports just show your forecast information by default. Click the ‘Show actuals’ button at the top.
This will turn on the comparison columns showing the variance between your Brixx forecast and Xero actual data.
2. Report & Account Structure
The default view of any Brixx actuals vs forecast report uses the following format:
Rows for top-level Brixx accounts
Monthly forecast columns
Monthly actual columns with variance
Report top level
A standard report might be structured like this:

The headings in orange are all top-level Brixx report accounts.
Drilldown level 1 - Xero account
Each orange report heading can be drilled into to reveal any Xero accounts (in blue) matched to them from the Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet matching screens.

In this diagram, you can see Brixx heading 1 has three Xero accounts matched underneath it. There is also a 4th row: 'Other Brixx account heading 1'. This won't contain any Xero information. It will contain any Brixx forecast components that post to that account heading which haven't been matched to a Xero account.
Drilldown level 2 & 3 - Brixx sections & groups
Your Xero accounts can be drilled into to reveal the structure of your Brixx plan. The next two levels show your sections (from the section panel on the far left), then your Brixx groups inside each section.
Note: If you don’t have any Brixx components matched to a Xero account, you won’t be able to drill into this account any further.
